Kitty and Bunny Love

Name: Milan & Cinnabun

Even though Milan is peeking in this photo, I realized I rarely show her with her long-eared brother and sisters!  Here is Milan taking a nap and Cinnabun, who had to interrupt!  As you can tell, Milan is not pleased.  She clearly only had about 12 hours of sleep so far today.

Post Move - Monday Milan

We have finally moved into our new apartment and the computers are set up! That means Sleeping Kitties is BACK!  To kick off our return, I present you with Milan.  She is exhausted after a day of meowing at movers demanding petting, rubbing her scent over new surfaces and jumping into every box we tried to unpack!  Silly kitty!

This weekend at New York Comic Con, I had the privilege of meeting the author of one of my favorite web comics,  The Oatmeal  (@Oatmeal).  I had him sign his book, 5 Very Good Reasons To Punch A Dolphin in the Mouth (sounds worse than it is).  He drew a picture of Milan sleeping inside the cover!

He does a lot of comics about cats too! I highly recommend checking out the site. Also, don't forget that I love posting sleeping cat photo's sent in by you so check out the submit page.

Pet A Kitty Day

Saturday, October 29 is Pet a Kitty Day! Show the kitties in your life that you love them. Most important, show a homeless kitty who has no one to pet them what love is. 

"Participate in the possibility of love and happiness! Please note, this is very tentative. We are looking to create an event that brings people together with cats, allows an opportunity for adoption, and donates proceeds to human and animal charities. The intention is to unite people that need a companion with cats that need a home. The event is still in its infancy stages, and any support would be amazing."
